Welcome to Big View Escape
Discover the ultimate Northern Michigan retreat in this beautifully appointed 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home located in the exclusive Edelweiss community. With easy access to the ski hills, and upscale amenities, this home is perfect for families, groups, or friends looking to relax and recharge year-round. Follow the short path to the ski hills to spend the day on the slopes at Boyne Mountain.
The main level features an open-concept kitchen and living area designed for gathering, whether you're sharing meals or relaxing after a day outdoors. A dining table for five sits just off the kitchen with additional seating around the Island, while the cozy living room offers a big-screen TV and a warm gas fireplace—perfect for unwinding.
Step outside onto one of two back porches and take in the scenic views. The spacious king primary suite is also located on this level, complete with an ensuite bathroom and a large walk-in shower. A convenient half-bath adds extra ease for guests enjoying the main level amenities.
Downstairs, a second living area provides additional space to spread out and relax. This level includes three bedrooms—two with king beds and a family-friendly bunk room featuring a twin-over-king setup. Two full bathrooms and a laundry area with a washer and dryer make longer stays comfortable and convenient for everyone.
Enjoy the outdoors year-round with a brand-new hot tub set against a peaceful hillside—an ideal spot to unwind after a day of adventure. Evenings can be spent gathered around the fire pit under the stars.
The garage is fully equipped for all-season fun, featuring a ski rack, boot dryers, and a Level 2 EV charger for added convenience.
This home is pet-friendly (a non-refundable fee applies and may be charged separately for third-party bookings), and for winter travel, 4WD or AWD is recommended.

We were looking for a place for an extended family get away. This house hit all of the marks. Plenty of space to gather and spread out when needed. Bedrooms are nice sized. The entire house is well stocked. The location is QUIET and beautiful.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here! We traveled to Boyne Falls for our kids spring break, with our friends, so we could ski. The house is super close to the slopes, which made it very convenient. We weren’t able to utilize the ski in/ski out option due to all the snow, but everything still worked out fine (we just jumped in our rental and drove down). The house had a nice garage where we could store our skiing equipment, a beautiful kitchen and living room which was open so we could all be with one another, a hot tub which the kids and adults equally loved (especially after a day of skiing), and two master bedrooms, which worked out perfect for us, and our friends. We each have a boy and a girl, so the boys loved sharing their own room, as well as the girls. Lastly, the house was beautifully decorated, the beds were so comfortable (slept like a rock!), and we appreciated the gorgeous 8 ft solid wood doors . It seemed the decor, furniture and appliances were well thought out.Amazing place to stay!

Grandmas treat for grandkids for a spring break getaway to the area and Avalanche Bay waterpark. I found out, six weeks ahead of our visit, after making reservations at the VRBO managed by Northern Michigan Escapes that Avalanche Bay was closed for maintenance and our water park plans (only reason we were going). Otherwise there’s not much for kids to do during this season in this area. I realize there’s a window by which we could cancel but
