About this house rental
Ideal for all seasons. A large, flat driveway surrounded by trees in a paved, quiet neighborhood. Tons of light in the house. Entry large enough to sit, remove and store ski boots, helmets, and hang jackets. Large Kitchen island to seat 4 and table big enough to seat 10. Half bath on 1st floor. Dual sided fireplace with large TV and game table ( do puzzles or play chess) on couch side and seating to read or talk in the kitchen on the other side. Washer and dryer in the basement. Basement has a large L shaped leather couch with a second large TV equipped with video games, air hockey and darts. There is a full bathroom in the basement. Upstairs 3 spacious bedrooms that can fit 8 people easily. Master room has king bed with large ensuite bathroom tub/shower. Second bedroom has Queen bed, end table on either side and large closet. Third bedroom has bunk beds + a full size bed. There is a large full bath in hallway. It is easily big enough for 2 families. Brand new refrigerator, outdoor grill, and Firepit for s'mores. Brand new 6 person hot tub (available seasonally) sits steps away on the outdoor deck surrounded by trees. Supermarket, meat market, restaurants within 1 mile, skiing access to 4 nearby mountains. Bromley 10 minutes, Stratton 15 minutes, Magic 2 minutes, Okemo 25 minutes.

Felt right at home in this clean, cozy and conveniently located home. Close to stores, food and coffee but feels like you’re miles away. Lots of room for everyone and the game room was a great bonus. Highly recommended.

Had 2 great nights here with our daughter and her fiancé! We have family in So Londonderry so will plan on staying here again!

We enjoyed staying at this home for a full week, and our hosts were wonderful and responsive when we needed them. The house is even more spacious than advertised, with great amenities for a family ski trip (games, hot tub, fireplace, mud room, lots of sleeping space). We unfortunately had a storm while we were there and lost power (meaning no electricity, heat, or water) for a full day. Hosts helped us check in with local power company and responded as soon as we reached out.That being said, the property could be better maintained for holiday rental. There was a lot of leftover opened food in the fridge (including alcohol, which could be a problem for families), the hot tub was technically usable but short on water, they were completely out of most necessities (hand soap, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent for example), all of which we needed to buy during the course of our week stay. We also were not warned that the heat would be off at arrival, and mistakenly arrived after dinner for bedtime to temps in the 50s (would have planned differently if we’d known). For a quick weekend visit none of this may have been an issue but for a high demand holiday week at peak market price it was surprising that the house didn’t seem ready for holiday renters. Overall we still had a great visit and think this could be a great rental at the right time, and would generally recommend.
