I normally stay a bit closer to the Air Force Academy and in newer developments, but this beautiful bungalow worked out just right. The exterior is a bit deceiving, but the inside is very well kept—nicely updated, very clean, and comfortable.Communication with the host was excellent, and the detailed binder of information about the home and local recommendations was super helpful. The location still offered convenient access to everything I needed. Overall, a great stay—I would definitely consider booking again!

Came in for the weekend for garden of the gods 10 mile. We had a long list of to dos and this allowed us to maximize our time as it was close to all the things we wanted. Garden of the Gods, Manitou incline, hiking and cute shops. This a cute place, beds where comfy. Never drove for more than 8 mins away lol there is binder with great recommendations of where to eat and what to do in case your just winging it. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in CO Spr for a week & this little hideaway was a great refuge after each of several very full days. I can't imagine going back to a hotel room after some of our days. It was so good to have our own mini house. We would always rather make a meal ourselves in a kitchen than eat out. This was a perfect spot to decompress!

The property was very clean and furnished. The themes of the rooms were awesome and it was overall a great stay! Super close to a lot of the typical attractions of Colorado Springs as well. The Hosts were very communicative and responsive. One of our best stays!

The propery is just right for us. Had all the necessaties and was very COZY. We used as a home base for activities with family in the area. But, for anyone visiting it is in prime location for all the common tourist sites and downtown. So MUCH around. Thank you Josh and Rachel for being great hosts!

Located a short drive from everything we wanted to see and do in CS: Manitou Spri gd Garden of the Gods and Downtown. Great neighborhood for dog walking. Around the corner from a nice park.

We were comfortable. The house was clean and very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet. Its about a mile from Old Colorado City with shops and restaurants. About 10 minutes from Garden of the Gods and 10 minutes from Manitou Springs.

We were visiting our daughter close by and needed a place to stay while there. Rachel's space was super clean and provided for our needs. It was just my wife and I, and the space was more than spacious enough for the two of us. The king bed in the one room seemed a little firm at first, but wound up being super comfortable. The other room offered a smaller bed, but we did not use it. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking needs. We only made ourselves breakfast, but there were pots and pans and other needed things if looking to cook more. The location was close to our daughter so that was good. We arrived at night so parking down an alley was a little scary at first, but the neighborhood seemed safe and nice our next days there. There is a park close by and stores / restaurants are not very far off at all. If needing to stay in the area, I highly recommend Rachel's place.

This little house was perfect for our needs. Beds were comfy, full kitchen saves money, and it is conveniently located close to outdoor activities and downtown. The big plus for us was that the yard outside the door is fully fenced which made it especially nice for our dog. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We will be staying here again when we need to visit Colorado Springs and we highly recommend.

We adored this little property! Not a fan of the neighborhood, but I should’ve done more research prior to booking. The house could still use a spring cleaning (cobwebs in kitchen window, dusty baseboards) but overall felt clean. Beds were comfy, welcoming beverages a great touch and having a full kitchen was great. Thanks for letting us stay!

Tastefully decorated, well stocked kitchen including spices & staples. Very conveniently located if you are visiting for Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mtn Zoo, puke’s Peak. We are well travelled and have stayed in countless rentals and this is one of our favorites. The host also included a very helpful guide including local restaurants, things to do, breweries, shopping and emergency services, which we utilized and their recommendations were spot on. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great tile floors. Well laid out living areas. Great kitchen. Great cupboards. Had everything you need in condiments, dishes, cleaning supplies, coffee maker, electric mixer Vertical washer dryer dishwasher comfortable beds. Well equipped bathroom. Everthing to pamper ones self, shampoos, even a bidet. It reminded me of the lofts in the So Hou area of New York. It looks somewhat unassuming on the outside. But when you see the inside "Wow"

Clean 2br 1ba detached structure with parking a few feet away. Basic kitchen with electric burners and oven, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Close neighbor starts up a diesel truck each morning at 7:30am, so no need for an alarm clock. Located a short drive from the garden of the gods with beautiful hiking and no parking fees. Really cute living space, well decorated and convenient to restaurants and breweries. I would definitely stay there again.

I don’t know who wrote these previous reviews. This property is clearly not What it says. The owner called it an adobe . It’s a small stucco house in the middle of a run down area with trailers, tractors , garages and her home faces the door that you walk out of. There’s dog poop all over the fenced in yard. The inside of the house is very clean However the surrounding and lack of privacy do not make your stay comfortable. We left a day early . VRBO was contacted and the owner did not respond to VRBO or my emails. I really tried not to leave this review but she left me no choice. It says it’s dog friendly but she has 3 dogs that shared the small yard . When we went outside there was quite a bit of barking between her 3 dogs and our dog.

Small quiet 2 br cottage. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the location on the westside away from most of the traffic. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. Would recommend.

The place is perfect for a few night. Close to historic downtown and the interstate. But the place needs a DEEP clean. The white towels had so many stains and I’m sure they’re clean, but it still grossed us out. Also the sheets need some stronger cleaning too. Furthermore, the WiFi being bad during a snow storm and even the day after makes sense but we were there an entire week and it didn’t work well the entire time. Overall, it’s a good spot, and I would stay there again because Rachel, the host, is LOVELY, but it needs a stronger cleaning routine.

This was an excelent place to stay. Especially for the price. Off road parking right next to the unit. Its a very updated remodeled 3 car gaurage thats behind the property owners house. You cant tell at all that, thats what it is. Its very private. She goes the extra mile while stalking adult beverages and snacks for the kiddos upon arrival. Very clean, heated and air conditioned, fenced in small but nice yard for dogs or children. Would definetly recommend and stay there again if i have another show to go up and see!!!
