The property was in wonderful condition and exactly as described. Host was easy to contact and responsive. The location was a bit noisy, but we were prepared for this, and the host left earplugs for us. She also left some cookies :) Would definitely recommend.

The room was very nice, clean, and located close to the airport. It was not quiet but we expected that and earplugs were provided, which we appreciated. We arrived really late and got an Uber from the airport for about 6. I had received a message from the host in advance explaining that the hot water heater was a bit finicky and we experienced that right away when we arrived. Like many places in Costa Rica the water heater is controlled separately from the water pressure. However, no matter which way we turned either knob, and no matter how long we waited, the water in the shower never got hot. I messaged the host and went to bed without a shower. I woke up in the morning hoping for better luck with the water heater, but that didn’t happen so I messaged the host again and she said she would send someone to help. No one ever came and she sent me a message an hour after we checked out saying that her cleaning lady said the water heater was working fine…. Which I know is untrue. We spent seven more nights at multiple different places in Costa Rica and never experienced anything like this.Aside from not having hot water, the room was nice, the curtains blacked out the light really well, and the balcony was beautiful.5/10
