About this house rental
Peaceful and centrally located home perfect for a family getaway or a group of friends traveling together. Enjoy the many areas of tranquility, while walking to local restaurants, shops and parks. Close to San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Gaslamp District and Sea World. Plenty of parking for up to three vehicles in the driveway, along with two street parking passes. Truly a mystical place to stay!
One King and one queen bedrooms are located downstairs and One King and one queen are located upstairs. In the back yard, there is a separate cottage (newly updated) which has a King size bed and full bath which is available to rent at $150 extra per night.
Guests will have access to the entire home, backyard and cottage (cottage access if rented for additional fee).
Hillcrest/Mission Hills is a higher end urban neighborhood in San Diego, California, USA. It is located south of the San Diego River valley and slightly north of downtown San Diego. Close to Old Town, Balboa Park, Downtown San Diego, and San Diego Bay. All the major attractions including Petco Park, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Convention Center, Seaport Village and more are within a short walk or drive.
Hillcrest is known for being centrally located to great restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs, trendy stores and many other locally owned business. The home is within walking distance to two major grocery stores as well.
This home is located on quiet, private, one way street and is within walking distance to UCSD and Scripps Mercy and is a great place for traveling medical professionals.
The pool can be heated.

Our stay at Michelle's home fit our needs perfectly. We were 7 adults and 3 kids under 2. The main suite area was a perfect spot for my son, his wife & twins. They were able to place the kids' porta cribs in the exercise space and large walk-in closet - which gave them the main room to themselves. The house was well insulated, so crying babies at night were not disruptive to the rest of the house. We were disappointed to not have San Diego sunshine, so we were unable to enjoy the backyard spaces. My son did try and use the hot tub, but was not successful. Directions for use would have been helpful. House was well stocked with kitchen supplies.
Note: There are 2 porta cribs on property (not just 1).

Spent the holiday week and everyone ages 1-77 was happy! Well stocked, and set up was great for entertaining. Responsivene and friendly hosts. Only issue was the hot tub (either didn’t work or we couldn’t figure it out and didn’t get directions) but we spent a lot of time in the backyard around the fire pit and outdoor tv and games. Wonderful memories !

It was a trip for our family to be together on Thanksgiving. 7 Adults, 3 Children and 1 puppy. Plenty of room for all and really enjoyed the outdoor space.
