The swimming pool is scheduled to be closed from Monday, September 14 through approximately Saturday, October 10, weather permitting, for pool deck refinishing and pump house repairs. Some of the work will be noisy during the contractor working hours. The property manager indicated that the project could be finished sooner, If everything goes smoothly.

This was one of the nicest condos we have stayed at. The unit and the way it was furnished was beautiful and comfortable. The view of the ocean was nice and we enjoyed sitting out on the lanai and watching the waves. The Poipu Kapili complex was very nice, and we realy appreciated that it was a smaller property - not too many people and the pool was never crowded. We appreciated the beach chairs and coolers that were furnished in the unit!We have been coming to Hawaii for years, but this was our first trip to Kauai. The location was ideal with easy access to local beaches, trails, dining and shops. The beach in front of the Sheraton (only a five minute walk) was great for playing in the waves. Poipu Beach, where we saw turles on the bach every day and enjoyed snorkeling, is also very close. Shipwreck beach was a great starting point to the cliff trail along the ocean towards Gillan Beach - spectacular views! Spouting Horn is also only a short drive away. We enjoyed Old Koala Town, which is also only a short drive. The best scones on the island are at Petite Sweets, where you may also want to grab a bag of freshly baked mini cookies. Mucho Aloha brew house is a great spot for casual dining (indoor or outside). Brennecke's at Poipu beach offers ocean views (make a reservation!) and Keoki's Paradise at the Poipu Shops is excellent. Holo Holo is also only a short walk for nice outdoor dining.We loved this condo and will stay here again when we come back to the island!

We had a fantastic experience with this unit. Michael and Gina are exceptional hosts. The location and amenities at Poipu Kapili are great. The provided beach items including chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and boogie boards were an added bonus. The unit is nicely updated and very comfortable - exactly as pictured. We hope to stay again!

The condo is perfect for us. The hosts have done an excellent job of providing a wonderful environment in which to relax and enjoy the island. The furnishings are comfortable and the layout well thought out. The kitchen is well stocked with basics and the bed is very comfortable. We can’t say enough about this little slice of heaven!!
