Great location. Kitchen/living room area a bit small, but otherwise a very nice place with plenty of bed space and a cute little yard.

Alex was GREAT! It was a great weekend and everything went smoothly! I highly suggest staying here! Brothers pub right across the street had great food and more importantly great drinks

We had a nice stay. Alex is very nice and quickly responds when contacted.
The only thing we disliked was one of the piers was used for people to dock their boats so they could go to the pub across street. If you want privacy just keep this in mind.
Also, with the boat launch right next door some blinds would have been nice on the windows in living room/kitchen.
We didn’t use the upstairs.
There is no wood for fire pit but across street you can purchase some at the market.
We enjoyed fishing for the first time on Shawano lake and going down the wolf river. Be cautious of shallow spots on lake and wolf river.
Overall we had a nice stay.

The listing looks a lot nicer than it is. There’s plenty of space if you have a big group, but another family member rented a house on the other side of Shawano lake that was MUCH nicer for not much more money.
Good:
- check in process was fine
- kitchen well equipped
- extra amenities like kayaks, bbq
- nice big and new washer + dryer
Bad:
- odor in house, several air fresheners placed around house
- building is in bad condition: stains on carpets, mildewed shower grout, wood flakes fallen from ceiling material onto beds in upper room
- furniture in bad condition: dressers and armoire falling apart, la-z-boy stained
- beds and pillows not very comfortable
