Excellent, top-notch communication from the friendliest host. Well-appointed, sweet little dreamy cottage among the pines. Loved all the little touches. My only ding is those iconically rental property polyester sheets! Otherwise, I'll pack my own and definitely come back. Loved.

The hosts were WONDERFUL! Stephany was so very helpful! Never been to Idyllwild! Beautiful, peaceful and friendly!! The cleanliness was so appreciated. No bugs! Great! But, apparently, you have Jehovah’s Witnesses coming to the door. Early morning. Just showing up unannounced. We were still in pajamas and packing to leave. Just wanted you to be aware.

This is a really nice little cottage for a couple or small family. The only drawback was the heating. We arrived Nov. 30th and the place was freezing cold. The wall AC/Heat units are ineffective and the unit in the living room never got the place above 66 after 3 days. There was no firewood starter kit provided so we had to spend >$50 in firewood to heat the living room to a reasonable level of comfort. Had we arrived in the dark this place would have been unlivable for the first night. We had to turn on all the stove burners and sit in coats and scarves that first evening to wait the hours it took to warm the place. The bedroom was really cold and the bed was freezing. Suggest mini-splits or some thermostat controlled heating source. Alternatively the PM should turn on the heating sources several hours before a guest arrival in winter months.
