Step into this modern A-Frame retreat where cozy comfort meets effortless fun. With three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home is perfectly suited for family trips, friend getaways, or a relaxing escape with plenty of room to spread out.
The heart of the home is the open living space upstairs, featuring a comfortable couch, a flat screen Smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with brand-new stainless steel appliances. The dining table seats six and cleverly doubles as a ping-pong table, making it easy to transition from dinner to friendly competition without skipping a beat.
Each of the three bedrooms is thoughtfully designed for rest and relaxation, offering king-size beds with luxury linens, individual mini-split systems, electric fireplaces, and Smart TVs. All bedrooms are conveniently located on the main floor, along with a full bathroom and a washer and dryer for added convenience.
Outdoor living is just as inviting, with multiple spaces to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Sip your morning coffee at the bistro table, fire up the five-burner propane grill for an evening barbecue, or unwind in a second seating area while watching the sunset with a glass of wine. This vacation rental is equipped with mini split air-conditioning.
-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January.
- Pets: We do allow dogs; however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval, and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.
Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.
- Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles.
- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be held liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.
- County permit number: 001552
- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.
- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age. Those under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.
Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

The good is that the property is very nicely done with all of the amenities you'd need. The three bedrooms are pretty identical so no one gets a "kids" room. Took a while to realize that the dining room table doubles as a ping pong table, had hours of fun playing. The disappointing part is that the fireplaces are just electric with projections, not real, kinda cartoonish, miss having a real fire especially since it was cold.The property management office standards are not the same anymore. The office is always closed, confusion over how to get the keys. Was told I was a VIP since I've used this service repeatedly but got nothing in return this time and questions when renting were never addressed in a return email.

We had an amazing stay at Glen View Retreat in Idyllwild! The house is spotless and incredibly well-maintained, with a modern touch that sets it apart from your typical log cabin. The interior was immaculate, the beds were super comfortable, and we loved the fact that every room had its own AC/Heater and a TV—perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The hot tub was a highlight, especially with the cool nights and the amazing view of the sunset. It was located in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes from town, making it the perfect spot to unwind.

Plenty of space in the upstairs great room with huge, well-equipped kitchen and plenty of seating and eating and hanging out space. Bedrooms downstairs are comfy but small. Lots of deck space and hot tub. Great location for getting downtown or to hiking.

Not all bad. The agency that runs it made an effort to respond to and address issues, and the upstairs living/kitchen area has recently been redone, which is modern and comfortable. Great lighting. Overall cleanliness was less than desirable—dirty rugs all-around as well as the carpet on stairs. Stained dining room table cover. When removed, the table underneath needed to be cleaned as well. Trash and old blinds behind the bookshelves. Bring your own coffee. And sugar. And salt. And pretty much ANY staple you might need if you plan to use the kitchen. Did I mention the industrial grade single-ply toilet paper?Requested early check-in. Got late check-in instead. Creative photography. Place is smaller than it looks. Would hire the photographer though.
