Fabulous Cottage, Walk to Glen Ellen

We had a great stay in Glen Ellen! The cottage was quiet, and surrounded by gorgeous lavender. It felt super peaceful and was a perfect place to unwind.One small heads-up the path to the cottage goes through the lavender, and there were a lot of bees. It wasn’t a big deal, but something to keep in mind if you have allergies (like my husband does).

The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub was clean and the location did not disappoint.

My wife and I took a short vacation to Glen Ellen for a weekend and found this gem. We walked to restaurants and hung out on the patio. Such a nice stay.

Delightful cottage with everything we needed. Cute area. You can walk to restaurants. The cottage is behind a house. I am not sure if the house is a rental. Knowone was in the house during our stay.

Quiet and off the beaten path but walking distance to restaurants, groceries and some wineries and tasting rooms. Short commute to Napa and Sonoma valleys. Great place to set up a base for a wine country tour.

The cottage was cozy and perfect for our weekend trip to wine country. I was especially impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was. The location was perfect for visiting any number of wineries. We would love to return again for a longer trip!

I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a quaint sweet quiet place to stay. Our hosts gave us everything we would need and more! Loved the area and will definitely be back!!! Cannot say enough about this place, it truly was magical for us.

My partner and I had the best, most relaxing time at this cottage. It was tucked in the back of the property overlooking vineyards and open space with a cute patio (perfect for coffee mornings). Easily walking distance to some places in Glen Ellen and a short 15-20 minute ride to downtown Sonoma. The place itself was clean and cute and we’d gladly stay here again!

The property is adorable - clean, well-situated about 4 blocks from the main drag in Glen Ellen. Walkable to restaurants, bars, and tasting rooms like Talisman. Peaceful and a lot of green trees around. The main house was not occupied when we were there, so if it was, I can imagine it would be slightly noisier if those people used the outside area. The proximity is decently close to the cottage. But overall, we loved it and will definitely consider staying there again in the future!!

A nice place for those who want a quiet area.

We were looking for a place to get away and unwind for a wine country weekend, and this cottage was perfect for our needs. Well-equipped, clean and quiet with a lovely landscaped walkway. Make sure to visit Les Pascales for breakfast just down the road, and Jack London State Park is less than a 10-minute drive for some beautiful hikes.

My husband and I planned a vacation to CA/Wine Country from NC. Not knowing a TON about the area we want to be close to sonoma/napa, however it was important to us to have a more spacious area to spend out time/be able to cook and spend time at the home. Glen Ellen was perfect. The house is less than a 10-minute, very enjoyable walk to the cutest town!! There's an amazing market, cools bars and restaurant, and the best french bakery (we went twice!) The space itself is perfect for a couple. Studio style cottage with a very comfortable interior. We spent a ton of time outside - utilizing the grill, hot tub, and patio overlooking the mountains and a beautiful forest and grape vines. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. All-in-all, could not recommend this cottage or Glen Ellen more for a fantastic and relaxing wine country visit!

Really cute place. Really appreciated the thoughtful accommodations. Cottage has everything you need. Does not have an oven or dishwasher but that is not an issue for us. Very large pizza/toaster oven does the job. Great location close to so many winery choices. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Sonoma.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful bungalow. The Jacuzzi was amazing, sitting under the canopy of trees was beautiful, easy walk to town. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely LOVE staying at this cottage. It has everything in the kitchen, including coffee. A nice grill and patio. Hot tubs are always a bonus. The bed is comfy. It is so quiet sitting outside anytime of the day. Lot of birds to enjoy. WE love it. WE walkt o breakfast, dinner and the market. We will be back!

We loved our stay in this cottage. It had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable and it was perfectly located for easy access to Sonoma vineyards! Check in was easy and we felt like we had ample privacy. We loved relaxing in the hot tub! We would stay in this cottage again!

Cute little studio in the quaint town of Glen Ellen. Perfect size for two people. I believe the couch turns into a bed, but any more than 3 people might make for a cramped stay. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was as I don't usually sleep well in any bed but my own. There is a hot tub which is nice unless you don't plan to use it so make time in your itinerary to do so because you will be charged either way. The cottage is set behind a home. It's a short walk up a small hill; not ADA accessible for those concerned. For those weary of noise, the neighbors are up early playing music and the hill makes it so the conversation carries. It didn't bother me, I was sitting on the patio enjoying it with my coffee. They have a Keurig and pods, just bring your own creamer if you need. I loved the walkability factor. Glen Ellen is such a cute town. There is a restaurant called the Glen Ellen Star which is Michelin rated so we were extremely excited to have a reservation until we were mistreated by Spencer, the manager. However, I can not say enough good things about the fabulous patisserie called Les Pascals!! Best croque madame and quiche I've had EVER! The ingredients are clearly of high quality. Really great coffee and pastries as well. Go early, there will be a line out the door. Uber service to Napa was ok, getting back to town was an issue. Overall this was a wonderful stay! I only docked one star in the check-in process due to not being allowed early check-in

Our stay, from booking to checkout, was so simple and enjoyable. There was so much to do within just a few steps or drive a few miles, but coming back "home" to the cottage was its own Wonderful, relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

The minute I walked into this Glen Ellen cottage, I knew it was going to be a fantastic stay. Clean, bright, cozy and embracing are just a few descriptors for this place. Gwen has nicely appointed the space and it made me happy to stay inside (or sit outside) for a long time. It was raining when I arrived so I put the kettle on, made a cup of tea, and curled up with a book while the raindrops pattered overhead. When the sun came out, I took the short walk to a nearby restaurant to meet friends and enjoyed a delicious meal. There was one issue, the mini fridge wasn't cooling, and Gwen was amazingly responsive and had it replaced within hours. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It is special.
