About this house rental
The villa is situated in 300 m to centrum with a lovely village square. The garden is enclosed by fences and portal gates, contains several terraces including one covered with BBQ, a roof terrace and a swimming pool 10.5 x 4.2 m with automatic cleaning. The pool is maintained by our French caretaker. The house (370 msq ) was built in 1966 and renovated over time. Ground floor: Beautiful hall with guest toilet and stairs to the upper floor. A large fully equipped kitchen. A living/dining room with access to a terrace. At the northern end of the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one with a dbl.-bed and one with two single beds and one baby-bed. Between the two bedrooms is a bathroom with tub. Upper floor: Here there are five bedrooms, three with dbl.-beds, one with a single and one with two single beds. There are access to the roof terrace from two of the bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, both with tub and a room washing machine.

We were a large family group of 11 adults between the ages of 20 and 65. The property is in a quiet small village with 2 bakeries and a supermarket, as well as a very small fresh produce market on Thursday and Saturday mornings, all within walking distance ( about 6/7 min).
You absolutly need a car as the bus no longer comes to the village and everything is a driving along country roads. Closest beach 30 min, Marseilles about 45 min, other smaller very nice coastal towns about the same. The property is well equipt in the kitchen as well as several umbrellas for shade and plenty of outdoor cushion pads for the sunlounges. The pool is slightly over clorinated, bring old swimmers as you will wear out your swimwear fast. Within the outdoor gardens there are several intertaining options as well as inside the property. Unfortunatly the property was not as clean as is resonable to expect, particuliarly in this price bracket, perhaps it had been emptry for a few weeks and we had to get the vacuum out on arrival to deal with dust and webs. The owner does have a electrical charger in the garage but will not allow you to use it, the village charger is expensive and we would suggest the owner to install a meter and charge close to actual cost price. All over we had a very good time and the property is suitable for large groups that still want some of their own space in between, you can explore the area or equaly stay put for days and just enjoy the pool, gardens.

Photos on the site do not do the house and the village justice. We found both nicer than we expected. Shops and restaurants are at walking distance. The village was very lively and beautiful.
