Casa Blanca, with private pool, terrace and sea view

Very nice and very good

Great location. Advertised as villa with private pool but owners use downstairs when there and you rent upstairs. Lovely pool area but downstairs rather than directly outside.

Lovely little villa ticked away up the mountain, A car is very much advised. A shot drive from altea ,calpe. With some great beaches and family seaside walks . The view from the lounge was amazing looking across Altea and to Benidorm. I miss that . A very quiet and relaxing place, what all the family needed. My son loved the pool, (11) and still talks about his holiday and asked when can we go back. Easy access from Alicante airport , Big thank you to Peter and his family for the use of his villa .

The place is good and quiet, away from the city but only few minutes away from the local center where you can find restaurants and mini markets. The pool is nice, and the view from the living room is amazing. Can easily communicate with the owners. And Leo (the caretaker and son of the owner) was helpful and accommodating. But we had some bad experiences. On our 1st night we did not sleep properly because it was hot in both of the bedrooms. As the house faces the sun in the afternoon, so at night time it retains the heat inside. And on the day we arrived the temperature in the area was hot and humid. Unfortunately the air conditioning unit is only in the living room and the 2 bedrooms don't have any fans. We can't also open the windows because there was a lot of insects that might enter the rooms. One day before our trip I already asked the owner to provide fans but I received no reply. So I decided to bring our small fan (unfortunately we forgot to bring it back home) but still it was not enough. So the next day we didn't feel good. But still we proceded with our plans. In the morning we swam on the pool and in the afternoon we went to the beach. nearby. And when we went back, here came the next problem, there was no water. So I immediately contacted Leo, he told me that the problem of the water supply was in the whole community not just only in the house. He tried to called someone to fixed it but nothing happened. Unfortunately there was no reserved water so we slept without taking a shower. We can't even used the toilet. I knew that it was beyond their control but out of frustrations I send a message of complaint to the owner regarding our bad experiences. In all fairness the owners (Peter and Ana) responded immediately, sending their apologies, but its the only time they told me that they don't have enough time to provide the fans that I requested. Overall our experience is ok but not as what we expected.
