Casa Maelle is a spacious and beautifully presented villa, furnished in a modern, contemporary style and designed with relaxed family living in mind. The villa’s generous open-plan layout creates a bright and welcoming space, perfect for enjoying a holiday together. Ideally located, Casa Maelle is just a few minutes’ walk from a local convenience store, around five minutes from a local bar, and approximately 15–20 minutes on foot from the centre of Playa Blanca.
Layout
The villa offers four spacious bedrooms arranged across two floors. Downstairs, there is a huge double bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom, alongside a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom which share a family bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find another double bedroom with an ensuite, conveniently positioned for easy access to the fantastic roof terrace.
Exterior
Casa Maelle has something for everyone. Spend lazy days cooling off in the private swimming pool, challenge friends and family to a game of pool or table football, or enjoy a game of tennis with rackets provided. For complete relaxation, head up to the roof terrace and unwind in the hot tub – a wonderful spot to relax and make the most of the Lanzarote sunshine.
One of the real highlights of Casa Maelle is its superb alfresco dining and BBQ area. This impressive sheltered outdoor space is designed for entertaining and enjoying long, leisurely meals together, with comfortable seating, a BBQ, hob, fridge and bar area. Whether it’s breakfast in the sunshine, an afternoon drink or a relaxed evening BBQ, it’s the perfect setting both day and night.

My family stayed at the villa for a week during December to catch some long awaited winter sun .. and it didn’t disappoint! The villa was spotlessly clean, spacious and included everything to get us started (including thoughtful welcome items). We spent a lot of time taking in the sunsets from the beautiful hot tub terrace and splashing about in the private heated pool. Any questions we had were answered quickly and helpfully, and the location was also really handy for walks into Playa Blanca. It was a perfect stay and we would definitely recommend it!

We were a party of 8, two families of four. We had plenty of space and had everything we needed during our stay. Upon arrival we found that we’d been left a bottle of wine, fizz, milk, bread, juice, cheese and a few tea bags, sugar sachets, coffee sachets and also a pack containing washing up liquid, sponge and cloth - none of which we had expected - lovely thought! Playa Blanca shops and restaurants were a 15 minute walk away which was ideal. There’s however also a great little shop just a few minutes walk away plus a bar serving great food. We’d definitely recommend this villa and would stay again.

Stayed at Casa Maelle in early October with 3 other couples. Villa is spacious, extremely well-equipped and everything was clean and in good order. As a couple who almost always pick self-catering properties for our holidays, we were impressed with this one.
Not being full-time sun worshippers and wanting to see more of the island than just the local beaches and bars, we rented a car for our stay. This meant that from our perspective the villa's location was ideal - a quite residential area just a short (5 min) drive away from the local supermarkets and the bars and restaurants in Playa Blanca.
We had three minor issues during our stay - the shower in the master bedroom took a long time to drain out, the air conditioning in one room kept turning off after 5 minutes and on one occasion there was no hot water to wash up after breakfast. We contacted the villa management team and they came round promptly to investigate.
The hot water issue turned out to simply be the result of 6 people having showers at around the same time in the morning so all the hot water had been used up (it was back up to temp. within an hour). The air conditioning issue turned out to be a setting on the remote control, not a problem with the unit. The shower drainage has been an ongoing intermittent problem - see other reviews - but a temporary fix was made and on the day we left, plumbers were in to implement a permanent solution.
As well as the rapid response to our call, the villa management team also gave us a restaurant recommendation where we had one of the best lunches we've enjoyed on our holidays!
Would happily recommend this villa for anyone who is looking for well-appointed holiday accommodation close to Playa Blanca but away from the noise and bustle of the bars / nightlife. Whilst having a car is not essential - the local taxis were quick and inexpensive - it does make things more convenient.
