New to VRBO. Lakefront, fishing and swim dock. Cabin fully equipped very comfy

This was an amazing little place right on water. I love that the hosts had stocked up and even had a complementary an and w root beer float in ice box for us to enjoy. Thank you Rhonda. We will be staying here again when we want to visit Grand lake. It even Had a place to put boat on at and to tie it to small dock. It was so peaceful and quiet in a countryside on the lake quiet, if you know you know that quiet. Everything was fantastic. From the hosts to the cabin to the view to the dock and to the root beer floats, all of it was amazing. We received great recommendations for places to eat as well. It was a relaxing weekend and would love the opportunity to stay here again. If you want a clean, well maintained and well outfitted place to stay next to the lake and hosted by two amazing people, this is what you are looking for. I try to always put something in any review that I post that could be useful in proving that I’m not some bot so here it is, make sure you click on the address that is listed and get directions to that specific address. Don’t try typing it into your gps yourself or you could end up somewhere else (which we did) and have to backtrack (which we did). As a matter of fact, if you are on your way there and you see a flashing yellow light on a sign that says something about a hidden or dangerous intersection ahead (we don’t remember the exact wording) THAT is the road you turn on lol! Seriously though, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Rhonda & Feryl we’re amazing hosts! Their adorable little lake house, Making Waves, was more than we could’ve hoped for in a home away from home! The two docks were just steps away, very well maintained, and very easy to access! (One is even covered with provided seating and some lighting!) The view from the living room window includes the water! It was lovely!While we were there, we also learned that pelicans migrate through at certain times of year! Pelicans in Oklahoma! Who would’ve guessed?!?! There is a small deck on the house with cozy seating for two. We really enjoyed it! This was an added perk for my Man who is a smoker. No smoking inside, but that was fine by us, because it’s not allowed in our home either. Nearby, there was also a provided BBQ for guest to use.And I can’t forget to mention the delicious, FREE root beer float supplies! Yum! An unexpected sweet treat is always a fun surprise! In case you’re wondering, the internet and Smart TV worked great for our phones and streaming services. They also have cable which made it easy to just flip on the Tv and enjoy! The big overstuffed recliner was super comfortable as was the bed! In fact, we wanted to take that mattress home with us! If your looking for a great place to fish, a romantic getaway, or a trip for your small family, we’d highly recommend Making Waves as your destination! We will definitely be return customers this summer, in the fall to see the pelicans, and hopefully beyond!

The home was very clean Nicely stocked and comfortable Rhonda was fantastic to communicate with and responsive to any needs Will definitely be staying with them again !Wonderful place
