About this villa rental
Located in a quiet street, 100 meters from the market and shops in the charming village of Portes en Ré, you can park your car in the garage or in the garden of the house and enjoy bike paths through the salt marshes and the forest. Near the village, pretty beaches: Trousse-Shirt, La Conche, the Lodge, La Patache (10 minutes by bike).
The house has:
- 1 pretty enclosed garden of 200 m2 with terrace and a parking space for one car
- 1 garage for one car
- 1 large living room very bright with living room, dining-room and American kitchen
- 3 bedrooms (1 with a 140 cm bed, 2 with 2 beds of 90 cm)
- 1 bathroom with bathtub
- 1 separate WC
- 1 storeroom
Quality bedding
Rentals are offered by the week (arrival on Saturday afternoon / departure on Saturday morning). The linen (sheets, towels, tea towels ...) is not provided by the owners. However, the manager of the house in charge of your home during your stay will be able to offer you various services: linen rental, bike rental, boat trips ...
A guide of the hiring is emailed by the owners a few weeks before your arrival with all the useful details and coordinates of the manager of the house on the spot. A check of deposit of 800 € is asked on the arrival on the spot and restored after inventory of fixtures.

We had a fabulous two weeks in Les Portes en Re. The house is perfectly located - just a minute from the centre of the village, its shops, restaurants, and the almost-daily market. At the same time it was incredibly peaceful. Under the olive tree in the garden was the ideal location to sit and relax. And some of the nicest beaches on the island are just a short cycle away. The house was in good condition throughout and had plenty of room for our family of 5, plus dog. No complaints and would happily return again and again.

This is a lovely spacious property with excellent accommodation for a group of up to 6 people - there were 4 of us. It has a lovely garden and very well appointed kitchen and living space, as well as being very near to a great local market and small supermarket whilst in a peaceful setting.
Our only reservation was that we hadn't been told in advance that sheets and towels weren't provided - it's worth checking before you travel.
