Duplex 6-7 p Résidence proche plage

Excellent location, just a short walk to the beach, market, restaurants and supermarket and bus stop close by. The apartment was very well kitted out, plenty of utensils in the kitchen, very clean and tidy. Fans provided to cool rooms. Very nice private pool. Although I have negative comments overall I would recommend the apartment.

No air-conditioning, 1 bedroom downstairs with large double windows to allow air to circulate. 3 bedroom up stairs, ( narrow winding stair case ). Upstairs rooms have very low doors and only small windows to allow air circulation. One bedroom very small ( step down into it ) and only has a small v opening window above the sitting room, - no window to the outside to allow for air circulation. I bedroom ensuite upstairs - ( again ensuite has very very low ceilings - a short adult / child could stand in the tub to shower. But beds were very comfortable. Very loud bar plays music till 2 o clock in the morning right across from apartment. But if you can party this apartment would be an excellent location...

Sehr gute Lage, gemütliche Ausstattung. Eine Grundausstattung an Gewürzen, Putzmitteln, usw. war vorhanden. Die Zimmeraufteilung war perfekt.

Apartment is ideally situated in the village with short walk to shops restaurants and beach. We were family of 7 adults and there was enough space for us all. Apartment itself was like a home.....had everything you needed to enjoy your stay.

I guess I think paying for towels and bed linen is not right for me. The owner stated that some people bring their own but we were on a Ryanair flight. Can't remember the cost but it was about €30 per person which I think was excessive. Also I am taller than average, 6 2 so not that tall. All the bedrooms upstairs were a massive pain to the head as I kept whacking it off top of door.

The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed. It is a compact apartment but the rooms were all very comfortable. There is a nice view over the town towards the church. The location of the apartment was great. A short walk from the beach and the centre Ville. There was a supermarket 2 minutes away and a superb covered market daily with fresh fish, fruits, vegetables and other local specialities. A choice of restaurants within short walking distance. La Couarde sur Mer was well located for exploring all parts of the Island by bike and is not as busy as the port towns. The centre of the village is peaceful and charming. Apartment had parking and an underground secure storage facility for bikes. Pool very clean and refreshing, never too busy.

The only slight downside was there is a bar / restaurant across the road that could be noisy. The music always stopped on time and was enjoyable to us although the people noise often went on into the early hours. With ear plugs it was not a problem and the bar itself was very nice. Although the apartment is on the main road there is minimal traffic noise at night.
