Adjacent to an iconic Charleston bakery, 'The Sugarsweet House' is a 5 minute walk to famed King Street. This renovated historic home includes a private pool. Enjoy the modern kitchen, charming living & dining area, the serene pool deck, and 2 floors of sweeping traditional piazzas.



The Space:

The Sugarsweet House accommodates up to 8 guests between 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths.



• Flex Bedroom #1 – King bed (or two twins) & Ensuite bathroom

• Flex Bedroom #2 – King bed (or two twins) & Bathroom

• Bedroom #3 – Queen bed + Ensuite large spa-like bathroom

• Bedroom #4 – Queen bed + Bathroom



*All ‘Flex’ rooms can be converted from King beds to two twins when requested*



Enjoy the privacy of a stand-alone historic Charleston home, socialize by your own 85 degree heated pool, explore the quaint neighborhood.

Guest Access:

Each Town & Island Co. unit is equipped with coded locks and unique codes that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.



Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a luggage storage space on the property for guests to use as needed.

Pet Policy: Town & Island Co. welcomes pets. There is a $125 non refundable pet fee. 2 pets maximum. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s).



Severe Weather Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC, your stay will be refunded. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued.

Prime location. However no flexibility with move-in or move-out times which is annoying especially for the high ticket price with CRAZY ancillary/add-on fees.

This house is very cool. It is so authentic and the perfect taste of Charleston. Great for a group with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Highly recommend!
