Gas fireplace, Outdoor Fire-Pit, vaulted ceiling, & breathtaking mountain views! The flat, gravel driveway allows parking for 2 cars. MOTORCYCLE/TRAILER/PET FRIENDLY (16' Max Trailers only).
Other things to note:
In addition to the nightly rate, the following fees will apply:
$150 Cleaning Fee (includes extensive cleaning and turnover before every guest)
No low vehicles due to the gravel driveway.
$100 Pet Fee
11% Tax – NC State & Haywood County Taxes.
• Please note: Late checkouts without prior approval will incur a $100 fine.
This property is not suitable for guests with mobility challenges. The home includes multiple stairs, uneven surfaces, and narrow doorways that may make accessibility difficult for those using wheelchairs or walkers.
We are close to Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Teague’s Convenience Store, and several Dollar General stores so that you may stock up for your vacation. There’s wonderful hiking trails within a very short drive from Cozy Elk Cabin.
Other attractions are BEARS, ELK, TURKEY, FOX, AND FIREFLIES.
Just 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway
Just 10 minutes to the Cataloochee Ski Resort
20 minutes to Harrah's Casino in Cherokee
30 minutes to Great Smoky Mountain National Park

This cabin has enhanced CDC cleaning measures that are implemented. The property is cleaned with disinfectant and contactless check-in and out.
As with any trip, unexpected situations can happen, including changes in weather or illness. While travel insurance isn’t required, we do encourage it for peace of mind, as this property’s cancellation policy is firm and non-negotiable. We normally like to get a more secluded cabin in the woods but you couldn’t beat how close to town you were at this cabin. We also loved that the kids had a nice flat yard to run around in. We used the fire pit several times and the fireplace inside everyday. The inside of the cabin was perfect and cozy. My favorite spot was the couch in front of the fireplace watching some classic movies.

The cabin is beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. It was a great location to visit GSM National Park.We even saw elk in the field across from the cabin. The front porch is great for relaxing at the end of the day or for sipping that early morning cup of coffee.Thanks for a wonderful stay!
