Southern Escape @ Bernards Landing w/ Kayaks

Perfect spot all the way around.

This is a great property. The unit felt very homey and the decor was really nice.We are in our 80's and we are not into all the streaming services when it comes to the TV. We could not get the channels that we are used to and we were here during the world cup in soccer and we couldn't get any of the games during our week. the lake is down 4-5 weeks and the fishing from the shore is not very good, you really need a boat now to fish this lake. They do have a dock to dock your boat which is really nice feature and there is a restaurant right next door in walking distance. It's good. What we found was the continual changing of the sky in getting some really great pictures in the morning and evening. A lot of deer in the area so we careful in driving. One came out in front of us the morning we left. It's pretty laid back in this area so don't expect what you would find in bigger cities. I would highly recommend this place. The bed was great. Oh! It was freezing cold in this place and I closed off all the registers.

This was very comfortable for 3 of us. Beautiful morning views on the balcony were a perfect start to every day- the slider door was a little tricky, so I’d advise leaving it a little open. Everything was great. They were super easy to work with and responded to questions promptly. We enjoyed our short stay.

This beautifully decorated condo at Smith Mountain Lake was absolutely perfect! We were attending a wedding at Bernard’s landing. We loved everything about the resort location. From watching the stunning sunrises and kayaking to lounging by the pool, every detail was ideal. The unit itself was incredibly comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed for a flawless weekend getaway. At the suggestion of our hosts, we, along we ten others, dined at Napoli’s (short walk from condo). The food was excellent and our waitress, Brittany, was amazing. Highly recommend this property. Our hosts were fabulous! We will be back
