Nice house with view

The property was very nice. The house was spacious and very comfortable. We appreciated the treats left for us. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

This nice house was conveniently located and the friendly host made it super-simple for us to make the best of our time. We did not waste any moment waiting or having to deal with something we did not want to deal with. We would certainly go there again!

A peaceful, private cottage with a lovely countryside feel. Nice sitting area under the shade as well as full sun lounging area. The fig trees were alive with birds and butterflies eating the ripe fruits, on our visit mid-September. Everything we needed was provided, with good kitchen facilities and a comfortable lounge/reading area. Vero has a local bar but seems to be only open in summer months; the Post Office(located in Town Hall) does not provide stamps for the UK. Nearest supermarket is Spar about 20 minutes drive away towards Ajaccio, with a specialist Corsican food shop at junction village road with main road, where also a bar. Two circular marked walks from cottage/village, through lovely wooded slopes. Days out included Restonica Gorge; beach west of Ajaccio then lunch in town; drive south past Porticcio along coastal road to Cala D'Orzo then return via Propriano. Advice - we saw the owner just once, on arrival - check the Wifi router is in the house before she leaves (as she lives in Ajaccio). A lovely place which we would certainly return to.

Lovely peaceful cottage and well equipped. Lovely views to the sea and my husband enjoyed cycles in the surrounding mountains. Worth noting (although not important for our holiday) that it takes about 10-15 minutes to drive to the main road and there are no shops or restaurants in the village. If I was to suggest improvements - WiFi could be added and the shower perhaps updated. Generally though a wonderful and relaxing break in a beautiful setting.
