About this house rental
Uniquely built, this 3,200 sq ft Villa perfectly accommodates up to 16 and boasts of its sweeping views of the Crystal Blue waters of Canyon Lake. Take a walk out the back door straight to the shores of the lake that is accessible for all ages. Soak up the sun, relax in the shade and visit with your favorite people in any of the many gathering places the Villa has to offer..
After a day of traveling to explore the many nearby attractions, come back to enjoy another amazing evening in The Villa.
The space
This Waterfront Villa has an open concept floor plan with 4 rooms jetting off in different directions. Master bedroom has 2 King beds with lake views and its own bathroom, The 2nd Master also has 1 King bed & Queen bed, its own bathroom and a lake view. The back two bedrooms share a bathroom and have two Queen beds in each room and one also has a twin daybed.
Other things to note
This steel and brick Villa was built by an Architect from Mexico for his wife in 1978 and has many unique features allowing its guests to feel as though they have traveled outside of the US for vacation. It has a large Courtyard with a Hot Tub, Fountain, BBQ pit and fire for gathering in the cool evenings or on a sunny afternoon in the Winter. There is one central AC unit and in the extreme Texas summer we realized that window unit’s in the back bedrooms were a must. If you like your house temperature in the 60s or low 70s in the heat of the summer. This is not the house for you! In order to help keep the temperature cool in the summer make sure doors close behind you!

Fantastic home that worked so well for our families summer vacation. Plenty of rooms and beds. A spacious living room. Great indoor and outdoor areas for meals. The adults enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Wife loved the kitchen. IMPORTANT INFO as of June 2025If you're not from the area you may have heard Canyon Lake is low but it's not low it's practically disappeared. Strongly suggest if you plan on enjoying the lake you schedule a boat rental from the Canyon Lake Marina because all the public boat ramps are closed. There's still plenty of lake fun to be had but don't plan on bringing your own boat or PWC beyond canoes or kayaks.

The house with large and spacious, we loved all the room that we had. There were three showers so plenty of room for everybody to be able to get a bath .kitchen is large plenty of room for all of us be able to be in the kitchen and cook. balcony was absolutely gorgeous beautiful view in the morning and at night . The courtyard was one of the things that we love the best after a long day at the lake was very relaxing Definitely give this house a five star will be coming back

We enjoyed early April visit and easy access down to lake, no houses below us. Separate master bedroom with it's own bath off kitchen was rustic but nice for grandparents - other 3 bedrooms and bath opposite wing good for rest of family. Concrete block Spanish hacienda feel with nice entry courtyard. Could use more electric outlets - but we were on vacation!
