About this villa rental
An unforgettable vacation awaits you in the unique Villa Primela with a quiet presence of history and breathtaking views of the island of Cres and the Kvarner. Villa Primela is a perfect accommodation for two families or groups of friends.
The highlight is the beautifully surrounding sunbathing stone terrace with the 50 m² overflow - private pool with hydromassage (based on natural sea salt), solar outdoor shower.
The house has been completely renovated with a successful combination of traditional Istrian architecture and antique furniture that has been thought through to the smallest detail. The owners have renovated the house for themselves and used it themselves.
The large, enclosed property, surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean plants, extends over 1300 m² and is located on a sunny slope of a small idyllic village called Mali Kosi. Only 6 km away is the place Rabac, which is known for its beautiful pebble beaches, the crystal clear sea, as well as for the view of the Kvarner Bay and the islands.
The house also offers a large courtyard terrace in front of the kitchen for al fresco dining. There is also a ready-to-use grill with a large dining table.
The stylish living area on the ground floor and the idyllic 30 m² veranda with wonderful sea views that flow into each other are the heart of this villa and meet the highest demands for luxury. Antique furniture and accessories breathe family history.

VILLA:
The interior of the villa is 170 m². Between the indoor and outdoor area there is a covered terrace and a terrace in front of the kitchen with a grill and offers space for 8 people. Here you can relax and eat outdoors.
* Ground floor
On the ground floor there is the large living room with open fireplace, sofa bed for 2 people, dining area for 8 people, fully equipped (fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine ...) Kitchen. On this level you will also find a bathroom with shower and toilet, a hallway, veranda, 1 covered outdoor terrace and a terrace with a barbecue that invite you to have breakfast, dinner or relax together.
* 1. upstairs
In the 1st Upstairs there are three double rooms (each with 1.80 x 2.00m double bed) with air conditioning, a bathroom with bathtub, bidet, toilet and furniture and a cloakroom.
The rooms are furnished with antique furniture, exposed beams and wooden floors.
* Outdoor area
On the completely enclosed property there is the 10x5 m overflow pool with hydromassage (based on natural sea salt), two different deep levels and wide steps that make it easier to enter. A pool seat inner step ensures relaxation and enjoying the incredible panorama.
The use of the pool thermal tarpaulin with reel overnight prevents the heat loss of the water for morning swimming.
The pool heating can be booked with the reservation request. For this purpose, a payment i. i.e. requested from 200.- € / week.
You will also find a solar outdoor shower, exclusive garden furniture, deck chairs and two parasols. The parking lot has space for 3 cars.

What a charming villa on a hillside with stunning views to the sea and Cres Island from both the terrace and up on the higher level from the pool. A wonderful sized pool too and ideal to have a 1m shallow end for children to play safely whilst getting stronger at swimming in the deeper end too. Thank you Doris for a lovely stay.

An oasis of peace and calm awaits you at Villa Primela set in the sleepy village of Ripenda Kosi in eastern Istria.
We were met by our wonderful hosts Doris and Gino.
They were so welcoming and utterly charming.
The house is fully fitted out with all you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. All the appliances are of the highest quality and everything was spotlessly clean. Importantly the wi-fi works well around the house and is fast.
There are inspiring views from every aspect but the very best are from the pool and the covered terrace/balcony. They look stunning in the website photos but are even better in real life.
The villa is not far from the local town of Labin which is said to be one of the prettiest in Istria and steeped in history. There are some great places to eat there but it is busy so probably worth booking ahead. Having said that we did always manage to get a table if we arrived early. There are also plenty of local supermarkets to stock up on supplies.
We can't fault Villa Primela in any way but if we had to pick 3 qualities that stand out they would have to be the incredible sea views across to the Islands, the peace and quiet and above all Doris and Gino. Thank you for turning our 2 weeks in Croatia into such a memorable holiday. As a rule of thumb, we try not to visit the same place twice but Villa Primela may be the exception.

Villa Primela is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing week. It is a well equipped, very clean villa full of charm and character. Doris and Gino are warm, welcoming hosts who are eager to ensure that your stay in Mali Kosi is as pleasant as possible. The outdoor terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy the fabulous sea views. The pool area is stunning, with beautiful panoramic outlook. We have no hesitation in recommending Villa Primela as a place to unwind and enjoy the hillside areas around Labin and the coastline around Rabac.
