When searching VRBO for our stay this listing states one price per night, but once you get to the total price details page, the price increases significantly. My issue with this is that the initial price you see is arbitrary and means nothing. In the end, I made the decision to book after seeing the total price, but would have appreciated more transparent pricing information upfront.
The misleading pricing is my reason for 3 stars. Other than that, the actual property was good. There were only three minor complaints specific to the property. First, the master bedroom runs hot compared to the rest of the house especially in the mornings. Leaving the master bedroom door open would help with the heat, but if you leave the door open then you get the light from the uncovered top windows out in the living room. Lastly, the master shower is quite small and I ended up using the other shower which was normal size.
On the positive side, the kitchen is huge and has all the utensils that we needed and then some. Also, drawers were labeled which was a nice touch. The front door has a smart lock and I had some issues getting the link to download the smart lock app. However, the host took care of it right away. There was garage parking and a remote. Nice to park in the garage with the summer heat. All the TVs had all major streaming services. The gas grill had propane and worked perfectly. 4 stars for the property and 1 star for the price listing. Overall, I would book again.
