First of all we want to say that the villa and the location were perfect for a family like us...3 boys aged 10, 13 & 15. Parents and a young aging 74 year old gran. Gran went in the 'granny flat', a self contained flat with its own balcony looking down onto the pool. Very clean she says, but flushing the toilet is difficult as the button seems broken. And locking the outer door was hard! Needs some wd40! Us parents were in the garage conversion. A tidy compact double bedroom with wardrobe and shelving and ensuite. Again, locking the door was problematic, and the shower blocks easily. Easy access to pool area The 3 boys were in the main part of the villa in the 3 bedrooms. 2 are double, the other has 2 single beds. The double at the front has an ensuite. The other 2 have a separate bathroom to share. The kitchen is great, oven, hob and dishwasher. The pool is amazing. Yes it's not huge but it's so clean!!! All the time!! It has a jacuzzi at the end, lovely. Lots of space to sunbathe or sit in the shade. Large table undercover to eat at aswell as a dining area inside. The resort is lovely and unspoilt. Plenty of restaurants. And also on beach front The beach is lovely, and loads of parking. Playgrounds and footy pitches there too. You are 15 mins from Roses which is worth a visit for the beach. Lidl and Supermarkat for food. They all close at 10. Check-out day was a challenge. We'd agreed on 9.30am because that's what the owners wanted. At 9.20 Melanie, her mother and small daughter turned up to check for breakages and then all the cleaning crew were waiting on the drive. It was stressful hearing Melanie and her mum shout at each other about us in Spanish whilst the little girl ran around getting in our way!! Nevertheless an absolutely stunning place to stay.

This property is well equipped with everything you need especially in a kitchen. Perfect service and quick response by the Melanie who was first point of contact of anything we needed. We had an issue with wifi. Engineer was called in and attended in 30 min. The property is comfortable for 11 people. The studio flat with separate entrance was really loved by our teenage kids who had lots of fun and privacy. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Pros: Nice location, good size place for two families with kids. Has a pool. Cons: Hidden extra costs (bed linens and towels) and very stressful checkout (possibly due to English language). Pool was not heated enough for that time of year (15c) and almost all the door locks don’t work or don’t work well. Fix some of these small things and the place would have been a more pleasant stay.
