Private farm with pool in the Alentejo

Incredible experience, phenomenal landscape and very kind and attentive hosts. Highly recommend.

Beautiful garden with a lot of shadow and cool places. Great pool. Nice house, comfortable. Very well equiped kitchen. A little bit old but ever so authentic. The area is very nice, beautiful little village at walking distance. We went to the bakery by foot and at night we went for an icecream during our evening walk. Evora is a supernice town, only 30 minutes drive. We enjoyed very much our stay with our three little kids.

We had a wonderful stay during the first week of May. We are a family of 5 and the house has enough space. The property and surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the house and at night watching the stars. The pool was great since it's above ground and the water temperature was perfect even in the mid spring. The small village has a restaurant O Casao which serves great Alentejo food. Evora is a nice place to visit for lunch/dine and wander through the city. We also visited Monsaraz which is worthwhile. Nearby there's a astronomical observatory called "Lago Alqueva Observatory". You can book a tour and the guide provided a wonderful, very instructive tour of the night sky. He made it very easy to understand and it was one of the highlights of our stay. We didn't get to meet the owner, but had contact via phone/app. She was very helpful and made sure our stay was great. Very relaxed Villa, perfect for a quiet holiday. We Visited the Odivelas dam, and take a really nice trip boat. We were 2 familys and everybody love it .Thanks Marta
