About this apartment rental
Only a few meters from the center of the famous resort , Chersonissos, and the scenic traditional village, Koutouloufari, you will find your home for holidays. It's a 50 m2 apartment, part of row-houses, that has 1 bedroom and can host up to 4 people. Chersonissos' center is only 10 minutes walk, Koutouloufari 3 minutes walk and the beach 15 minutes walk. Located close to the highway makes the access from Heraklion airport more than easy, while it helps exploring the biggest part of Crete.
Our home is located between the center of the famous summer resort, Chersonissos, and the scenic traditional village, Koutouloufari, where our guests can find beautiful beaches, as well as interesting local activities. Moreover, our home can guarantee your relaxation, one of the most important aspects of any holiday. Chersonissos center can be reached easily by a 10 minutes’ walk. So that means that you have quick access to all the essential amenities as supermarkets, groceries shops, bakery, coffee shops, ATMs, pharmacy etc. However, the location of the house (a little outside of the center) can secure the essential conditions for privacy and relaxation.
The house is a 50 m2 apartment at the ground floor of three row houses and has a big terrace for enjoying your morning or afternoon drink, as well as a private parking place for your car. The apartment has a big room in the entrance, where you will find the living room with a big sofa that can be transformed to a double bed, the fully-equipped kitchen, the modern dining place with 4 seats and a 50 inch television with cable TV . Moreover, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a big wardrobe and one more television and the bathroom, in which you will find a big bathtub and a washing machine. The house is also equipped with two coffee machines (both filter and espresso), microwave, toaster and a hair-dryer. The terrace is rather spacious, with a view to Chersonissos center and the sea and has a big table with 4 chairs to enjoy your drink or work peacefully. The flowers and the view will secure the calm environment that is an essential part of your holidays. The location of the home is ideal for holidays. Except from the close distance to Chersonissos center, it also provides easy access to the highway. That means that the house is easily accessible from the airport of Heraklion (only 15 minutes drive) and also gives you the chance to explore the biggest part of Crete. Heraklion city is only 20 minutes drive and most of the beautiful beaches of Crete are less than one hour drive.

Everything was perfect. Great communication before we arrived. The owner left us water, fruit and a bottle of lovely Cretan wine. And even popped in after we had arrived to check we were ok. The apartment is exactly as the listing with great sea view and outside dining and loungers. Nearby (few minutes walk) are shops, bars and restaurants and of course the amazingly friendly and lovely Cretans. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the sea. A taxi from anywhere in Hersonissos back to the apartment was about 8 to 10 Euros. Wifi and aircon was excellent.

I would highly recommend Sofia’s apartment in koutoulofari to a couple or family. It is spacious, clean, away from any sounds from nearby villages allowing for sound sleeping. A highlight of our stay was the Monday night festival in old hersonissos, a 30 minute walk from the apartment. It is a lively festive area with live music, dancing and many wonderful restaurants. A must- do restaurant is also Steki which is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The proprietor George is charming, the hostess is endearing and the food is delightful, explaining our return for a second dinner. The rooftop restaurantants are also charming. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, restaurants and beaches of the area of Crete that we were able to explore. Would highly consider a repeat of this vacation.

We couldn’t have wished for a better stay during our time in Crete!! The appartment was very clean and everything we needed was there. Sofia was a very very nice host and the contact with her went perfect. The location of the house is fine, close to supermarkets and cute restaurants.
Our stay was perfect and we had nothing to complain about! Amazing holidays in Sofia’s Appartment!

* Sofia answered any email within a couple of hours. Her details of how to reach the apartment, access the apartment, what facilities are close to the apartment etc were excellent.
* The apartment is well set out and very clean. Sofia's extras made it even more personal. Thank you, Sofia.
* Koutouloufari is a lovely village
* A hire car could of be of use, if you wish to travel to different interesting places. It was our first visit to Crete and we were particulaly interested in getting to know the island.
* Walking down to the beach in Hersonissos and back up to Koutoulafari is easily done...approximately 15 mins down to Hersonissos.
