Il Trebbio is a 1.5 hectare property located in the northern Tuscany, on the sunny hill of Albiano (Barga, Lucca, Tuscany).This place is well know for its prestigious position: it dominates the wonderful medieval town of Barga and offers a breathtaking view on the whole Serchio Valley and the famous Alpi Apuane mountains. Barga is strategic to plan daily visits to the most important Tuscan cities: Lucca, Florence, Pisa...From every side of the property the view is amazing! We think that there’s not better way to describe this Tuscan Heaven than to display on our official website the major number of photos. An evidence of the gorgeous heaven offered by Il Trebbio is the percentage of guests that came back: 2nd time 70%, 3rd time 50%! All of them confirm us, with gratifying happiness, that Il Trebbio really represents the Tuscan Heaven! Most of the spring/summer/late summer season is usually near to be completely booked from February, make plans well in advance.

Close to the Villa (approximately 700mt) there's the beautiful panoramic swimming pool of Albiano.
The price is 6€ per person per day (2025 rate).
Entrance free for 0-3 years old children and half price for 3-6.

Very nice place with a fantastic view. The house was as presented in the pictures. One of the cleanest houses we have ever rented.Communication with Diego the owner was easy and very friendly.For us the living room with the open fire place was perfect. The kitchen is new and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a good sleep.The area is perfect for hiking trips with mountains with fantastic view. Supermarket with all you need 10 minutes drive. You need a car to enjoy the place and the area. Nice drive up the mountain but no problem with a regular car.Highly recommended. We will come back!

We were looking for a house to accommodate a family of 5 in nothern Tuscany, allowing for excursions to nearby villages and the sea as well as to Florence and Lucca. Luckily we found Villa Trivium. Sonia and Diego are helpful and accurate, responding to all our questions and assisting with advice on where to go as well as household matters. The villa is located in a peaceful neighborhood, with the possibility of relaxing by the local swimmingpool in Albiano, take a walk to the beautiful city of Barga or make excursions to Lucca, Pisa or nearby seaside towns such as Viareggio. Car rental is strongly recommended.

Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet area! House was very clean and the garden was beautiful . We did not have a car , but Diego helped us communicate with the local taxi service. Taxi took us into the town of Barga when we needed and picked us up ! Diego was also very quick to respond and willing to help out with anything we needed . Great experience. Thank you !

This is a very romantic, cozy, extremely clean villa with views that will take your breath away…..Sonia and Diego are great hosts. We celebrated our marriage in this wonderful place.

Because of the Covid-19 situation , we were not sure until the last minute that we were going to be able to go on this holiday. Sonia and Diego were so accommodating and understanding and extended the date for final payment until we could be sure we were going, risking their own income. Our flight arrived very late but Diego met us in Albiano to help us find the house in the dark, even though it was midnight. The house is spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the garden in just beautiful. We loved spending time relaxing up in the terraced garden, surrounded by lavender and fruit trees, with gorgeous views over Barga and the valley. Barga is a quick 10 minute drive, or a 50 minute walk down the mule track (longer in the way back , up the hill, in the heat!). The pool in Albiano is a 10 minute walk away and was beautifully maintained and situated. Diego’s dad popped in a couple of times with his delicious home grown tomatoes (the size of small pumpkins!) and courgettes. When we checked out , again with a late flight, the owners were so accommodating and let us stay at the house until later in the day as new guests were not arriving until the next day.

Sonia's family and the place are amazing! When we arrived, we immediately felt like home and, staying, we felt like being part of the family ourselves. The beautiful garden and fireplace contribute to the cozy atmosphere. The view is also breathtaking and many things to explore nearby. We had a fantastic stay!

Lovely house in a beautiful place. The description was accurate. Peaceful place up the mountain from Barga and the views were fabulous. I took so many photos of Barga in different lights and cloud formations. We were given a very warm welcome and a lovely touch to have a bottle of delicious family wine waiting for us. The house was clean and well equipped. The lounge area was small with only two easy chairs but we spent most of our time on the beautiful terrace enjoying the view. The bedrooms were large with comfy beds and lots of storage space. Good shower in the bathroom. Barga is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the local restaurant in Albiano too. Grotto del Vente nearby and well worth a visit. The owners answered queries very quickly and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this house if you want a peaceful holiday in a beautiful area of Tuscany.
