Casa dell'Ammiraglio. charming villa in the heart of Positano. with sea view

Best location in town! Next to the most famous hotel in town and a view so good that people constantly stop there to take pictures. Short walk to the city center and beach, less than 5 minutes to groceries/wine, and plenty of great restaurant options nearby. Beautifully decorated and spotless thanks to Tania, the live in maid who we rarely saw but always appreciated for keeping the house in order. Stefania welcomed us on arrival and organized our tours, driver, boat trip, restaurant reservations, cooking class & dinner in the villa, etc... 5 star hotel level concierge service! Perfect for 3 couples or anyone who wants 3 bedrooms that each have their own ensuite bathroom, but be aware the bedrooms are not equal; there is a clear best, next best and least best (I can't say worst because it is still nice). The best bedroom is on the lower level with a sitting area and direct access to the stunning terrace where you should try to spend at least one full day of your vacation... it is incredible. The other two bedrooms are on the upper level, one with a balcony and the other with a large ocean view window, and a shared living room and patio. All are well furnished with comfortable beds.All the pictures and descriptions in the listing are accurate. The fitness center is just some fitness equipment like yoga mats, blocks, foam rollers, pilates rings etc that we used to stretch after all those Positano stairs.You won't find a better place to enjoy La Dolce Vita!

We had an amazing stay at the villa. The location was perfect being just outside the busy narrow streets but still in the action. It was easy to walk to all locations in the main area and even down to the port. The view was beautiful as seen in the photos. Having the house keeper on the property was a great luxury and helped keep the place is order. Any questions were answered immediately and any issues fixed. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious but authentic Positano stay. Very satisfied with our trip and hope to be back soon!

What a beautiful villa! The location was perfect with spectacular views, and the villa itself was very spacious and comfortable. Having a live-in maid who kept everything spotless every day was such a wonderful surprise. I also had a personal concierge, Stefania, who was fantastic—always quick to respond and eager to help with anything I needed. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a special stay.

The villa was so spacious and absolutely beautiful. The view from the gorgeous patio/yard was breathtaking. We had 5 people in our group and there was so much space to gather and relax together. The location was ideal. I hope I am lucky enough to return to Positano and would love to stay here again.
