The chalet "Les Lupins" has an exceptional placement in the Valley of Chamonix, in "Les Tines". It can offer in summer as in winter an exquisite place for 4 to 5 persons. Situated on the border of the river Arve, in an authentic and preserved frame, very paceful, the property is bordered with very old fir trees and offers a spectaculary view over the whole Mont-Blanc chain. Very near to the most important ski stations (Les Houches, Les Grands Montets, Balme, Brévent-Flégère…), the chalet "Les Lupins" is also the ideal point for walking in one of the most beautiful part of the valley. It is a perfect place for nature lovers who want to have dream holidays. It is also particularly adapted to families because the garden is closed and allows the children to play in safety.
Built 1954, on a plane grounds of easy access, the chalet "Les Lupins" has been totally renoved in September 2010. The specialists of renovation of "mazots" (the word for old wooden house in Chamonix) have managed to preserve the original authenticity and to combine it with the comfort requirements of today. The decoration is respecting the mountain spirit and honors the wood as a nobel material. The Scandivian oven is giving a warmly atmosphere. A big terrace of 60 m² exposed to south-east with its wooden furniture allows to fully enjoy the beautiful view over the Mont-Blanc.

Together with my three adult children we spent 9 days at the chalet Les Lupins in Les Tines-Chamonix over the Christmas period. It was one of the best holidays we have ever spent which was not only due to the fact that we had a great time as a family but also due to the wonderful atmosphere and location of the chalet – les Lupins. It is obvious that this chalet is loved and cherished by its’ owners, it has such a lovely, cosy feeling which makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in. The attention to detail is visible in every corner - from the knobs on the kitchen cabinet doors to the natural wooden fixtures in the bathroom and restroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality cooking and even baking equipment & utensils and the fridge/freezer is big enough to be stocked up to feed a family for a week. Absolutely nothing was missing in terms of utensils which was great for our entirely self-catered holiday. There is even a Raclette maker which is a great meal on a cold winter’s evening. The shower with multiple body jets felt like pure luxury at the end of a cold winter’s day. The location of the chalet was perfect - nestled away in the quiet area of Les Tines, right next to the river and forest and near the golf course. What better way to wake up in the morning to the view of the mountains and having breakfast on the sunbathed veranda. Bus and trains stops are 2 minutes walk from the chalet and offer very good connections to all major ski lifts in the valley and Chamonix town. It was the perfect combination of staying in quiet, undisturbed and natural surroundings, yet being able to enjoy the vibe of Chamonix centre as well as having access to all other areas of the Chamonix valley. All in all a perfect holiday in a lovely chalet in a beautiful spot of the world.

The chalet is in a beautiful spot. Lovely and quiet, near a river and with it's own little garden, but also easy to get to everywhere in the Chamonix valley. It's detached, of traditional style, beautifully (and robustly) kitted out, and nice and warm. We loved seeing the sun set on the mountains outside the big patio doors. As a family of 4 it was great to have a separate bedroom, and we all wanted to take the shower home with us! Also the boys enjoyed playing in the snow in the garden - on previous holidays staying in apartments we have found that didn't happen once you're upstairs in your apartment. Loved the pottery made by one of the owners. All very special. One thing to remember to take - we needed snow chains to get along the lane on a couple of mornings during our stay (although we noticed other locals were managing without!) A truly wonderful, memorable place.
