About this house rental
Incredible location just steps from coffee shops, ice cream, bars, pizza & more! With easy access to public transit this conveniently located cottage is perfect for all Seattle travelers. With classic charm & modern amenities our 3 bedroom cottage is a wonderful home away from home. Enjoy working from home with an additional office space with two desks & high speed internet. The fully stocked & recently renovated kitchen leads to a large deck for indoor outdoor living with a BBQ and fire pit.
Lady Mary Cottage is two story home with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a dedicated office. Our kitchen has been recently renovated and fully stocked with cookware and utensils.
Bedroom 1 with a king size bed is on the main floor along with the office, bathroom, living room and eat-in kitchen. Upstairs has bedroom 2 with a queen bed and bedroom 3 with two twin beds. We also have a portable crib and crib mattress for your use.
The laundry room is in the basement accessible from an interior staircase. The laundry space is shared with the lower unit, Henry's Hideaway. Each unit has secure locks to their private spaces.
We have a smart tv with access to all common streaming apps.
Please note this home does not have central air conditioning (very common in Seattle!). But we do have two strong window AC units (June-September) and have provided two strong box fans.
All the spaces outlined in this listing are private and exclusively rented by you. The internet is fast. We are a "shoes off" home and do not allow parties.
There is an additional short term rental below Lady Mary Cottage that is often booked. We ask that all guests are mindful of noise and footsteps from 9pm to 7am.
If you're interested in renting the lower unit (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom) contact us directly or search "Henry's Hideaway". When booked together the two spaces can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Guests are provided with personal door code to access the space.
We live in the area and are available to help with any needs as they arise. With keyless entry access to the cottage is seamless.
Our home, Lady Mary Cottage, is located in the Whittier Heights neighborhood of Ballard. We are just two blocks north of a handful of very popular restaurants and food establishments. We're happy to share any recommendations! There is no designated off-street parking but finding a spot on the block has never been a challenge for our guests.
The rapid ride bus line is just a block away and there are plentiful ride share drivers in our area.
We are a shoes off home. With the Seattle weather we greatly appreciate your cooperation in keeping your shoes off at all times inside.
There is no smoking of any kind allowed (i.e. cigarettes, vaping or marijuana) and no drugs allowed on the property.
No eating or drinking (other than water) on the beds. If you are eating while sitting on the living room furniture please be mindful.
No parties or gatherings are allowed. We ask that you if you have visitors other than those claimed in your booking that the total number of people does not exceed 5.
Quiet hours are from 9pm - 7am, because there are two rentals on this property we ask you be considerate of volume at all hours but especially between 9pm and 7am.
Be sure to lock all the doors when coming and going.
