Casa Munda Desenzano

Nothing to complain. Clean House, great area with everything ( Restaurant, Bakery etc ) close by. Very Close to the water, perfect to take a walk. Owner very friendly and helpful!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Casa Munda. The apartment had everything we needed, was easily spacious enough, clean and and the location is superb, with the town centre on one side and a park leading to Lake Garda on the other. The apartment’s terrace has a lovely view of the lake. Rivoltella is a delightful town with everything you could need including several good restaurants and, during the local festival, live music in the piazza. There is also a butcher, bakery, grocery, newsagent and (particularly popular with our children) a gelateria. We didn't have a car but found it easy to get around using local buses and the train from Desenzano - Verona is very accessible and even Venice is only a couple of hours away. The Lake, with a beach is only a few minutes walk away. Natascia is a very welcoming host, communication was excellent before our arrival and during our stay. We absolutely loved staying at Casa Munda and would love to return to explore the area more. Thank you, Natascia!

My husband was interested in going to Mille Miglia 1000 in Brescia, Italy. Searching Home Away for a rental near the town, I came upon pictures of a lovely apartment in Rivoltella a part of DEsenzano de Garda. This apartment was spacious and clean with a wonderful deck with a view ofLake Garda. It is in the center of the old town within walking distance of shops, restaurants, lake and transportation. It is on the second floor so if stairs are a problem this might not be for you. The prices around town are reasonable and the food choices excellent.. we stayed 4 days, I could have stayed 4 weeks.

The vacation was cut very short by the heat-wave and the lack of air conditioning in most of the apartment. The bedrooms were around 89 degrees and the living room after running the mobile a/c all through the night was down to 79 only in the morning, with no chance to go any lower during the hot day. It's a spacious apartment with a great view from the balcony and a really short walk to some shopping on the same street, and also not far at all from the beach. But it is not equipped to deal with heat-waves like the recent one.
