Gosen Beautiful & Luxury House in the Mountains, Relax and Enjoy nature!

Beautiful riverfront property with incredibly helpful and hospitable hosts. The layout is good for groups seeking privacy, as every bedroom has its own external entrance. The highlight was the gorgeous garden filled with flowers and coffee plants. Highly recommend—I look forward to returning!

While I gave this place 5 stars, note that this is a well maintained home - not a 400 / night resort. So based on expected accommodations, it was great in all respects - perhaps the most important aspect is about Eduardo and the fantastic service he provided. For a reasonable fee he picked us up at the airport & brought us to the home, helped with luggage, & gave all sorts of advice & assistance - w/o being intrusive in the slightest. He even took us to the food markets to get food for our stay and later gave us a tour of the city on our way to our next stop.About the accommodations, I stayed upstairs in a nice bedroom with a deck & view while my wife & girls stayed downstairs. Everything was very clean & worked fine. There were minor things, such as locating outlets which wasn’t obvious & how/where to hang your damp towel (I draped it over the glass door corner), plus other minor things. But really, the bedrooms and kitchen / dining area were fine and we were very comfortable there.The girls (and parents) played several of the games there - foosball, ping pong, and other games. Also, we went down to the river in Eduardo’s backyard every day we were there. The river/stream was similar to what you would see in the Smokey Mountains (ie, Chimney’s Picnic area). Unexpected surprise.If Eduardo put some toward a boardwalk down the muddy slope then the river would be a great attraction… but then he may have to raise prices. So perhaps best to leave things just as they are.

Eduardo and his wife were very kind and accomodating. They did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The gardens aroud the house were lovely and we enjoyed their dogs and parakeet.

We had an excellent time at Posada Gosen, finding it to be the perfect location for our family retreat.The accommodations were superb; the kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the grounds were beautiful, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment for our break.As noted in other reviews, the highlight of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Eduardo. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful, immediately addressing all of our needs. He provided a wonderful tour of the coffee farm, which included a hands-on coffee roasting experience, and kindly arranged for a yoga instructor to visit one morning. These personalized touches greatly enhanced our vacation. .Additionally, we enjoyed the local area, specifically the nearby parks with hiking trails, waterfall, and the viewpoint overlooking San Jose.
