The property was newly furnished and had everything you would need. The host was very welcoming and helped us with everything we asked. He even gave us a jar of honey which tasted amazing. As for the location it was a bit of an uphill walk from the center but nothing too crazy. The apartment is compact and very very clean. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Opatija.

We recently stayed at Marjan’s apartment in Croatia and had a truly wonderful experience! The apartment is brand new, beautifully designed, and equipped with high-quality furniture and appliances. Everything has been thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort and convenience. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need — brand new dishes, excellent Tefal non-stick pans (perfect for cooking without hassle), and even a coffee machine for espresso lovers. There’s also a filter coffee maker for those who prefer that option. A dishwasher is available and very convenient for daily use, especially during vacation. One of our favorite features was the washer-dryer combo. After coming back from the beach, we’d just throw in our wet clothes and in 45 minutes they’d come out dry — super practical! The living room has a large smart TV, and the bedroom features an orthopedic bed with a high-quality mattress, pillows, and fresh bedding — extremely comfortable and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom is also fully equipped, including a great shower, household cleaning products, shower gel, shampoo, and a powerful hairdryer. The apartment has air conditioning and mosquito screens on the windows, which made our stay even more pleasant. It’s located just slightly uphill from the main street, making it very peaceful and quiet, yet only a 5-minute walk to the SPAR supermarket, where you can do all your grocery shopping and cook at home. The location is also close to the center and not far from Volosko beach, which in our opinion is the best beach in Opatija. Lastly, Marjan is a wonderful host — very responsive, helpful, and provided us with all the necessary information. We had a great time staying here with our child and truly recommend this place to anyone visiting Opatija. You’ll feel right at home!
