Very nice, cozy apartment, decorated with motifs of the sea and sailing, very clean, with everything you need for a stay - especially in the kitchen. Also, there is very nice view of the sea from the balcony. The first beach is about a 10-15 minute walk downhill. The apartment is in a quiet part of Opatija, so I think it is especially good in the summer months when there is much more crowd, noise and heat around in the center. The potential drawback is that the apartment is on the 5th floor without an elevator, but the host took care of that by organizing help with carrying luggage to the apartment. Very nice of her. Nataša is an excellent host and she helped with all of the advises and requests I had/needed.
My stay was great so I have no complaints.
