Bright 1 bedroom apartments near Farnham Castle

An exceptional apartment beautifully fitted out with an exceptional bathroom with walk in shower. So much nicer to be in a roomy (surprisingly spacious) apartment rather than a hotel room. Full kitchen facilities and both Waitrose and Sainsbury’s just 2 minutes away, plus if you want an easy breakfast there’s Gail’s (expensive) bakery 50m away or a range of other coffee shops. In the evening you are sitting above the high street (The Borough) so dozens of restaurants around you. The living room faces the high Street so has plenty of noise from traffic or pedestrians below BUT the bedroom is-set back and there was no noise. WiFi great, smart TV, we stayed for a week and there was everything you need. Parking - just needs a bit of local knowledge - the Central car park just behind is expensive for 24hrs (£24!) but is only £1.40 for weekday evenings from 5:30pm - 10pm, then is free until 8am and if you use RingGo you can pre-pay for the next morning until 9 or 10am to give you a more relaxed start. If you need 24hr parking then the car park at the corner of Bear Lane (100m away) is £9 for 24hrs.

The access to the property is via some concrete back stairs at the back of Boots the Optician, next to all the bins from the Bush Hotel. When you first see this you think “oh no, what have we booked”, but in reality the apartment is lovely. BUT the access stairs are steep and narrow and WOULD NOT BE SUITABLE for someone with restricted mobility. But the hosts can’t change that, the location is great
