This was a lucky find for us. Because of a rail strike, we had to get to Ancona early. This apartment is in a quiet location, but an easy downhill walk to the port. The unit itself is cleverly designed to maximize space and amenities provided. After a hot and humid day that included delayed trains, it was very thoughtful to find everything ready for us, including a bottle of cold water in the fridge. A couple things that may be useful to know: the ceilings in the loft space were a bit low for the member of our party who is more than 10 feet tall, and in another 10 years, I might not be too keen to take the stairs to the loft (I'm in my 60's now).
