Great accommodation for three people traveling on a budget. Clean! Comfortable beds, tea kitchen, shower, toilet, washing machine, iron, ample floor space for suitcases. Situated in a quiet neighborhood and a 12-14 min. walk to the Minowa metro station, which was the one we used most of the time. Convenience store close by and in walking distance of the Asakusa area. Easy check-in via door code and key box. Owner/staff was quick to respond when we had a question re. change of towels and garbage disposal.

This place has an 'air b'n'b' vibe about it and a small folder or booklet with a little information about the neighborhood, nearby shops, closest train stations etc. would have been a nice touch. Like, what to do with the garbage you accumulate, the fact there's a washing machine you can use just outside the room etc. Not a drawback as such but something to add for visitors in the future.

Clean, modern apartment. Quite a good price for a 3-bed short stay in Tokyo. Two separate toilets makes it useful for larger parties.

The apartment is right on the edge of a decent size red light district. There are a lot of 'hotels' in the area, and if you walk directly to the apartment from the nearest metro station you will pass a lot of them. Many, but not all, of these hotels seem to be quite up-market. There was no evidence of soliciting on the streets - but still women may not feel comfortable walking alone in this area in the evening. The apartment is a solid 15 minute wall from the nearest metro station (H20). Although there is a kitchen there are very few cooking utensils such as pans, spatulas etc.. There is a rice cooker (we did not use it) but a sharp kitchen knife and a cutting board would be very useful. The apartment is advertised as having a balcony, but we could not find it. A shame, as this was one of the reasons we booked it.
