Renovated Bright 1 BDR Apt,Sought-After Paddington

Bright and comfortable.

No elevator.Stair carpet to access apartment is a disgrace.

Clean, well appointed, roomy, supplies for washing and cleaning most welcome.

No tea towel, the instructions available on line for the various functions NOT sufficient. No information or labeling of the use of lights.I couldn’t get the TV to work and the internet was dropping in and out. I was lucky I was able to use my phone as a hotspot. The deposit applied for damages needed to be explained further and I needed to be informed when it would be released, instead I had to email to find out.

Location was convenient for us - from Paddington you can get everywhere. Bed was good, bedroom on the quiet side of the building. Some good restaurants around the corner, or a couple of blocks in any direction. A short walk to the parks.

Renovated, but kitchen was definitely not, and staying for 8 nights with such kitchen was a challenge. Cabinet doors: to open/close fridge one need to operated an adjacent washer for because of misalignment, zero light of any kind, everything was old and of cheapest kind. Coffeemaker was old and useless since coffee pods were of the wrong type. Lighting was bad everywhere, with exception of the bedroom. Floor fans worked, though not all of them. WiFi was so bad, our phones worked much better without it. We tried to communicate multiple issues through booking.com, but we were getting just cheerful wishes of good stay from the owner, and no reaction to our questions.
