Newport - Sleeps 8 - Private Parking

This was a great house, well located. The house was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and there was good storage in the rooms. There was plenty of space for our boys to play in the living room and it was a cozy space to relax after they went to bed. The proper dining table made a welcome change to many other places we've stayed. The kitchen was a good size for our needs, clean, well stocked and the washer & dryer were easy to use. The owners were responsive and friendly. We had an issue and they resolved it immediately with no fuss. Real private drive for two cars also really handy.

Shower was alright but could be updated. Toddlers and nettles don't mix so we didn't use the garden. Please buy a cork screw for the kitchen?

House was in a lovely location. Newport is a great little town and very accessible to lots of other areas if driving. The house is well decorated and well appointed inside and beds are very comfortable although the pillows were a bit hard. Only thing we couldn’t find was a wine bottle opener we had to go buy one in the town. Neighbours were lovely too.

The outside areas they are in need of much maintenance. The garden furniture was unusable as dirty and cushioned left out in the rain. The outside windows in the garden were so dirty and full of cobwebs and dirt. The front garden is very overgrown. Bushes in front of windows need cut down as bang against them in the wind. No dishwasher so a tea towel was provided but more than one would be helpful. No hand towels for bathrooms only bath towels.
