Excellent location, close to everything. Modern rooms, great AC, modern bathroom (great shower and soft towels), our room had a balcony with a pretty garden view. Check-in was straightforward with clear instructions. The minibar was complementary which was a lovely touch. The host was very helpful and communicative via WhatsApp.
The front door electronic key was a bit temperamental and it took a while to get in every time we returned. We saw a cockroach in the room which was there there whole time. Did mention this to the host but not sure if a cleaner ever came as the cockroach was still there the next day. No body cleaned the room while we were there for 3 nights - it would’ve been good to have the bins emptied at least. A bit tricky to find (if you have luggage, the best route is via the Main Street Corso Umberto, turning left just before you arrive at Porta Catania (the big old gate) - that route is step free. It is about a 20 minute walk from the Interbus terminal.
