Casa Viña de Alcántara

We absolutely loved our stay. It’s such a quiet and peaceful place, perfect if you want to switch off and relax. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, the people are lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely come back.

El lugar es precioso es como estar en la casa de campo de unos amigos. El personal es muy amable y agradable. No disfrutamos del desayuno pero lo vimos preparado y está bastante bien.

En las fotos de ve la piscina bastante más grande de lo que es y recomiendo que cambien el color a uno más claro porque parece que tiene verdín aunque esté súper limpia. No todas las habitaciones tienen tele, la nuestra no tenía y nos hubiese gustado que sí. Por el resto todo genial.

A place with a lot of charm, and they treated us wonderfully. You can tell it isn't fully updated, but it's well kept, just with some signs of use. Our room had a huge, very comfortable bed. The AC was a lifesaver in the heat, though quite noisy. The bathroom is big, with a tub, a bit hard to get in and out of if you have reduced mobility. We did find a fair number of ants: not a real problem for us, but not pleasant to see. The garden is large and the pool is welcome, though we mostly stayed out of it since the dark color put us off( purely personal.) Breakfast is perfect, and the common areas are lovely, with a nice classic colonial style. It's set well away from everything, which brings peace, but a car is a must. A small fridge in the rooms for cold water would be appreciated in such a hot area. Everyone was very kind and attentive to their guests. A few small things to improve, but overall we were very satisfied.

Beautiful grounds and great heated pool. The staff were excellent.

The bathroom in the room was open to the room and not private. Ceiling beam was very low by shower to hit head on. Hard and uncomfortable bed.
