Villa Stella Maris Kastela - Private Pool & Steps to Beach

We had an amazing stay at this villa and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable day-to-day stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host, Lovre, and his family were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. They answered all of our questions about Croatia and gave us fantastic local recommendations, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The photos simply don’t do this place justice—you really have to see it in person to appreciate how beautiful it is. The garden is stunning, the pool is amazing, and the colour-changing lights at night create such a lovely atmosphere. The BBQ area is also perfect for relaxing evenings. The location is unbeatable. The beach is literally a 30-second walk away, with crystal-clear water, easy access for swimming, breathtaking mountain views, and the beautiful old town of Kaštela nearby. There are several supermarkets and bakeries within walking distance, making everything very convenient. The villa is only 7 minutes from the airport, and with frequent bus services, you don’t even need to hire a car. The house itself is modern, stylish, cosy, and exceptionally well maintained. We would definitely recommend this wonderful place to anyone visiting Croatia, and we sincerely hope to return again soon!

We had the entire property which is a ground floor apartment. This was better for us as one of our party has some mobility issues. The pool is fabulous. Every amenity possible for a great stay. We felt very safe and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful.

There is nothing not to like. Our only suggestion - maybe sharpen the kitchen knives. We are a bunch of foodies and love to cook together. Most people would probably eat out all the time but we love to buy local produce and experiment.

We had a really lovely stay at Villa Stella Maris Kastela. The host was super responsive to every query both before and after booking. They met us on the first day and more than happy to show us around. They were on hand during our stay whenever we had any general questions and responded immediately. The Villa is beautiful. Equipped with everything you could need. Very very clean. The location itself was perfect for us. Just a few moments walk to a beach and beautiful promenade walk along to the Kastela. A few moments walk to one of the best coffee places around. We hired bikes (much cheaper than in the UK) and rode towards Split for around 10K on flat and very safe paths. 5-10 mins walk to supermarkets (open every day including Sundays) and a brilliant location for the airport. There was some minimal noise from planes but far less than expected given we were so close and so sporadic so didn’t bother us at all. The pool was well maintained, very clean and a great size for two teenage girls. The Villa is enclosed by a high wall to front and electric gates so it feels very private and exclusive. The area felt very safe at all times of the day including late evening walks home after dinner. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a Croatian villa in a good location for a family looking for a place to relax. Loved every moment. Thank you Villa Stella Kastela

Huisje was netjes schoon en bij aankomst stonden er al een paar koude biertjes klaar en een fles wijn dus dat was top. Zwembad was netjes. Bbq inclusief benodigde spullen allemaal aanwezig. 1 min lopen en we stonden op het strand, kortom goed verblijf gehad heerlijk genoten
