The ocean view and the large space with the air up bed. This was very nice and the location was 5min from the beach. Buildings were in the way of the sunset but could view at the beach. Breeze was nice with the windows opened, and the fans that were provided assisted with the air flow. Beach supplies came in handy and umbrellas in closet for the rain. Mahalo

It didn’t have a hair drier and one fan didn’t work, placed in the closet. No warning about window cleaning happening. Taking a shower and a rope was down the window. Later seeing someone hanging from the rope to clean the windows. On Monday with no warning. Water shut off for the day for maintenance, was warned about, which made us prepared at least. But wasn’t expected during our stay. Electric stove didn’t have a vent for cooking. Just opened the sliding door. Floor could be cleaner and the walls and frames had smudges from the last stay. Candy or food left in the corners of the bed on the floor and not completely clean feeling.

The building is located right at the heart of the most popular area of Waikiki, and steps from the beach. A lot of restaurants and shops. The condo has everything we need. The kitchen has refrigerator, oven, microwave, all cooking utensils, pots and pans, even reusable groceries bags. For the beach there are umbrella, beach towels, mat. We originally booked a suite with two rooms , having two large beds and a sofa bed (per Booking.com's description), but was given a suite with only one king bed and one sofa bed. We contacted the resort and immediately was given the chance to a suite with two beds as we originally wanted, but this alternative suite was not as nice as they first one offered so we sticked to the one with one king bed, but then resort representative offered us an air mattress and this resolved our concerns (sofa bed is not comfortable to sleep on). The representative was very accommodating. We selected this condo because we wanted a free parking space for your rental car, a very important criteria for us.

Nothing was negative.

The location and views from the balcony and rooms. Having a full kitchen was excellent, saved us a lot of money because we didn’t always have to eat out. Good amount of space. Easy to check in, even at 1am.

The fact that we booked thinking it had a pool, only to find out too late that the pool was under refurbishment and not able to be used. Would have been nice to have a pool close by that we could utilise in its place. The price we paid was the same when we thought we had a pool to when we didn’t have a pool. They advertised the room as having 4 beds. But in Australia we would say it sleeps 4 (as in only two beds). So we thought we would have have a bed each but on arrival had to go purchase an air mattress to make everyone comfortable. Also booked the place based on it having air conditioning only to find the aircon had rules around what temperature it could be set at and when it could be left on. It’s an older apartment and has a few flaws based on its age but that didn’t really bother us.
