Toilet didn’t flush and was full, pubes in the sink, stains on the floor, neither of the lamps in room worked

I cudnt stay and I had to book another stay.
Location
On entering the room it was filled with the overpowering smell of smoke. I started coughing immediately and there no fan and the windows cant be opened widely. I tried calling but no one answered to assist me

Cheap and cheerful, quiet road
The good points were a nice comfy bed and clean towels the check in was easy.
Bad points were that the room had a musty odour The two bedside lamps had broken bulbs in them! There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. There was noise from a bathroom fan because someone had left the light on in the top landing toilet all night. we only realised what was causing the noise the next day.

Very comfortable bed, superb value
Location 25 minutes walk from the train station, very clean and comfortable beds. I only stayed the one night as I was out at an event in Southampton town centre.
