Saudade Residence - Ultra Luxury Futuristic Ocean Zen Retreat

This was the most stunning beautiful property I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail when creating this villa is unparalleled. We came here to relax for a night and it certainly did the trick after spending hours in the jacuzzi, by the fire pit in the evening, dining outside with the sound of birds and frogs nearby, and watching the sun set over the ocean. The beds are super comfy, the shower huge, both with fantastic views of the gardens, neighbouring banana fields and of course the ocean. We used some of the vegetables from the permaculture garden with our dinner, and herbs from the herb garden with our omelettes in the morning. The stocked fridge and wine rack were lovely extra touches.

Loved everything about the property. No negatives at all.

Architecture

The design of the property leaves some safety gaps as the staircase steps outside and inside are not clear. The sunken area is too close to the dining room. My partner fell twice and twisted an ankle. The light/mood buttons did not always work and neither did one of the iPads. Switching off lights and closing curtains was made quite difficult as a result. The glasses (and some cutlery) did not appear clean (either because they were not or the dishwasher was not washing properly). We never ventured to the third bedroom that is only accessible via a spiral staircase which had accumulated some cobwebs and dust.
