My daughter and I enjoyed having a very modern beautiful room that was super clean. We particularly loved the bathroom with its beautiful shower space and large mirror in the bathroom and a full length mirror on the outside of the bathroom door. It made it quite easy to get ready at the same time. It was a lovely quiet stay in wonderful historic hotel close to so many conveniences, especially U of I which we were visiting.

This stay was a 1 night stopover on a family holiday trip. It's too bad we didn't plan to stay longer. This is a lovely property in a classic Tudor style building with ornate woodwork and multiple levels. The room was clean and the bathroom nicely renovated. They even provided high-dollar soaps and shampoos! The staff was very nice and accomodating from the desk clerk to the bartender, and the breakfast hostess.
For accomodations close to a University campus town, it was far, far, beyond what we expected!!
