Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa

Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa was a pretty unique experience overall. Being out in the jungle setting was definitely cool and gave the stay a different vibe compared to being right in town. That said, the location is quite far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, so getting to restaurants, shops, or anything else takes a bit of effort. The property does provide bikes, but unfortunately all of the ones we saw had flat tires and didn’t feel reliable enough for a longer ride into town. On the plus side, arranging a car was easy and convenient, usually with only a 5–10 minute wait. We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious and comfortable, and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, there were a few downsides. The breakfast was underwhelming and didn’t feel entirely food-safe, which was a bit concerning. Another issue was the shower, the shower head was quite corroded and the water pressure was almost nonexistent, making it difficult to use. Overall, it was a good stay. The property itself is cool and has the essentials, but there are a few areas that could use improvement to really match the setting.

All the attractions that we wanted to see/do were very close by however we were still in a quiet private area in the mountains. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room was a great size and was always kept clean. We had a lovely stay here for a very reasonable price and we would definitely recommend staying here

Great hotel. Lovely staff. Stunning location. The lights around the property and the greenery just made it so special. We stayed in the big double room next to the playground (2 adults, 6yo, 4mo baby). No cot so we made a floor bed with extra bedding on floor for 4 month old baby. Lovely having the swimming pool. Taxis knew location and easy to use grab to come collect you.
