Our stay truly couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and at home. The family is absolutely lovely! so kind, warm, and helpful and they made our time here even more special. The homestay itself is beautiful and has such a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. There is so much to do and see in the surrounding area, which makes it the perfect place to explore Ninh Binh, while still having a wonderful place to come back to and relax. Everything about our stay felt special, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. If we ever come back to Ninh Binh, we would choose this homestay again without hesitation. We can’t recommend it enough! ❤️

We were with a family of 5 and we were very well received by the owners of this beautiful homestay. We used the free bikes to get to the nearby Trang An boats. They helped us with the adjustment of the heights of the bikes, they loaned us hats to shelter from the sun and we got extra water for the ride. Restaurant is fine with a large menu to choose from. Very quiet place, beautiful next to the river with sups available to ride on the water. The last day we stayed later to take a night bus and enjoyed the swimming pool, showers, toilets, a terrace on the river… we would definitely recommend this homestay!

The free bicycles were very useful, and we could take them whenever we wanted. The beds and towels were fine, towels were replaced when needed, and separate pool towels were provided. The hosts were also friendly and smiling when speaking directly with us.

The flooring around the pool and on the stairs is extremely slippery. Several members of our group fell and got hurt. This is a serious safety hazard that urgently needs to be addressed. Our biggest problem was the billing. Throughout our stay, the owner repeatedly encouraged us to order or take whatever we wanted and said everything would be calculated at the end. At checkout, the handwritten itemised charges totalled ₫5,525,000. He then added a 3% card fee of ₫166,000 even though we paid in cash, followed by another unexplained ₫60,000, bringing the total to ₫5,751,000. We paid because we needed to leave and did not want a prolonged argument, but we felt taken advantage of. The couple managing the property frequently argued and shouted loudly at each other. At times, two different songs were playing simultaneously in the common areas. During one of our meals, one of the hosts spent the entire time hammering pads or pins underneath dozens of dining chairs. The constant banging was extremely unpleasant and this maintenance could easily have been done when guests were not eating. Because of the dangerous flooring, excessive noise and questionable billing, we would not stay here again.
