The cottage is very well renovated to maximize the view. Spotlessly clean.
Youghal. The town is depressing, run down and nothing to do. This is not a reflection on the property itself but just to be aware that there are so many other nicer towns you can spend your time. Also you have to park on the main road and walk up a 100m very steep hill and steps to get to the cottage. The shower didn't work but we reported this to the owner who is a very chatty man and is passionate about the property. You can only access the deck/balcony via the bedroom or around the side of the property, so all in all for the price EUR575 for 2 nights I wished we'd stayed in another town. The view unfortunately does not compensate for the location.

Periwinkle Cottage is a little jem. Host went above and beyond, cottage was spotlessly clean and location is ideal. Even on a rainy afternoon the views are beautiful.
