Very warm and cosy cottage with lovely views across the River Blackwater to Youghal. Well equipped. We loved the Robin that sang to us all day. We didn’t find it too difficult to turn the car around in the driveway.
Sadly the cottage is so close to a main road so it is extremely noisy from 6.30 am to 8pm. However, we did sleep well. The bathroom was still showing evidence of the previous occupants. Outside areas small and concrete. No laundry facilities but these are available in Youghal.

The cottage was clean, well maintained and beds were comfortable.
The cottage is on a national road with speed limit of 100kms/hr and there is very heavy traffic including large Lorries 24hrs a day, during the summer months it’s impossible to open the windows day or night. We had our little dog with us and it was very easy for her to get out from under the main gate as it has foot or more of a gap from the ground.
