Everything was clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. The facilities were brilliant with anything you might need. There was milk and beer in the fridge on our arrival and the owner kept in touch to check we were happy with everything.

Convenient location. 5 minutes to shops by car. But note that it is on a major road so it gets noisy from passing cars. It doesn't bother us though so we were good with it.
Complimentary beers and cookies!
As owner probably have a dog or allow pets they need to clean property better before next guests. I had to take antihistamines and my partner had to vacuum and wash the floors due to dog hair being everywhere (including bed throws).
Heating setup is a bit unclear how to use.

The cottage was clean, well maintained and beds were comfortable.
The cottage is on a national road with speed limit of 100kms/hr and there is very heavy traffic including large Lorries 24hrs a day, during the summer months it’s impossible to open the windows day or night. We had our little dog with us and it was very easy for her to get out from under the main gate as it has foot or more of a gap from the ground.
